England Women’s Senior Team Assistant Coach and FIFA World Cup bronze medal winner, Marieanne Spacey, will deliver a free CPD event for coaches in April.
The event, Developing the England DNA with Elite Players, will cover both theory and practical delivery and offers a fascinating insight of how the England DNA is shaping the future of the female game.
Harrogate Town AFC are kindly opening their doors for the evening as our hosts and we would like to invite coaches, players and fans from across the game to join us for a fantastic evening with the Lionesses coach.
Following an introductory theory session, Marieanne will take a one hour practical session with the U17 squad from North Yorkshire Girls Centre of Excellence on the main pitch at The CNG Stadium to showcase key elements of the England DNA that coaches can take away and use with their own players. After the practical, we will hold an open Q&A session for any attendees to ask questions on Marieanne’s career, from being hailed as one of England’s greatest ever senior female players to winning bronze with the Lionesses at the recent FIFA World Cup in Canada.
Entry to the event is entirely free of charge and is open to anybody. For all FA Licensed Coaches’ Club members, attendance will secure you 3 hours of Level 1 & 2 CPD towards your annual requirement.
Date: Thursday 21st April
Time: 6.30 - 9.30pm
Venue: Harrogate Town AFC, The CNG Stadium, Wetherby Road, Harrogate, HG2 7SA
