Women and girls who play football are being asked to give their opinions and insights into the domestic game in England.
The review is part of The FA’s new strategy for women’s football, ‘Gameplan for Growth’, and covers all aspects of the domestic women’s game.
It aims to provide insights into what is needed to encourage increased participation and continue the development of the women’s game.
It will examine areas such as the number of games being played a year, competition formats and the importance of promotion and relegation.
The survey also aims to provide a greater understanding of barriers to participation.
The Football Association has commissioned a review of women's and girls' competitions.
The brief is: "to review the current youth and adult competition structure for the women and girls game in order to inform a fit-for-purpose structure with clearly defined appropriate pathways of competition which support all types of players within the women and girls game."
A key part of the brief is to understand the preferences of players who play at different levels of the game. We would therefore be grateful if you could complete this survey, which will only take around 10 minutes of your time. Your responses will remain confidential and will only be reported in aggregate along with those of other respondents. Thank you in advance for helping us in this way.
Additional feedback can be sent to CompetitionReview@TheFA.com.
